Client Profile: 21st Century Building Expo and Conference

    June 26, 2018

21st Century Building Expo and Conference (21CBEC) in Charlotte is one of the biggest events in the Southeast for the home building industry. Featuring over 170 different booths and 45 different seminars over the three-day show, this conference is a must-attend event for any serious home building company.

The conference is the perfect place for builders around the Southeast to get together and see what is new in the industry, meet with potential vendors and learn about changes in laws or other codes that may affect their business. It is a way to interact with others in the industry. Builders benefit from all aspects presented at the show.

Meredith Communications is proud to partner with 21CEBC on all aspects of marketing the expo.  The communications company which specializes in internet marketing and website creation for the home building industry gladly accepted the challenge of marketing such a large and successful event.

The first thing that Meredith Communications did was establish a theme and tagline for the show, #BuilderStrong. This is essential to marketing the show properly and reaching builders throughout the Southeast so that they would be encouraged to attend. Once the taglines and theme to the event were established, Meredith Communications moved on to the next important marketing step.

Updating the website for the Home Builders Show was essential to its success. Meredith Communications updated the site to include relevant information for this years’ event and changed the layout to be more eye appealing. Meredith incorporated the latest internet trends into the website design so that the page would remain relevant and appealing to the public.

Meredith followed up this new design with an aggressive marketing program incorporating Google AdWords and Facebook advertising, both paid and organic. The company used other techniques as well to bring in a large audience to the show.

As a final marketing tool, Meredith Communications designed a mail marketing campaign to reach those who may not have been reached through internet advertising. The mail marketing campaign also served as a reminder of the show to those who had already seen the advertisements via the internet.

Meredith Communications will continue to market the show until its last day to ensure that the show is able to attract as many participants as possible. At this time, the show is expecting over 2,500 guests to come based on early registration records. This is a significant amount of attendees and with proper continued marketing, the final numbers should be even higher.

Meredith Communications has extensive experience in creating an internet presence for those working in the home building industry. By devoting a majority of their business to one specific field, Meredith Communications has been able to master the marketing skills needed to promote those in the home building service sector. Meredith Communications has successfully marketed many different home builders, communities and individual properties in the past for their clients. The ability to market such a prominent show for the home building industry was a credit to their services.
